Why This Exists
I spent nearly three decades surrounded by first responders and military personnel. I've seen the best people I know quietly fall apart behind closed doors. The culture we work in doesn't make it easy to admit when we're struggling — we're trained to handle chaos, to stay calm when everyone else panics, to walk toward danger. That training saves lives. It also teaches us to bury our own pain so deep we forget it's there, until it erupts.
Complex PTSD isn't about one bad call. It's the cumulative weight of exposure after exposure, year after year, layered on top of whatever you were already carrying before you ever put on a uniform. This site is for the ones still in the dark, the ones who've been white-knuckling it for years, and the ones who suspect something is wrong but can't quite name it.
I'm not a therapist. I'm not going to pretend to have all the answers. What I have is 29 years of service, a lifetime of dealing with my own trauma, and a genuine desire to help you find your footing.

What This Is — and Isn't
This isn't a cure. It isn't a replacement for professional help when you need it. It's a companion — someone who's walked this road telling you there are lights up ahead, even if you can't see them yet.
